Shevchenko Like A Broken Ferrari, says Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is the latest to join in the Shevchenko debate. The highly rated £30 million striker has been considered to be a flop. It is not just his lack of goals, but his general game. He looks a million miles away from the player he was in Italy, reigning as one of the best strikers in the World.

“Sometimes you need to be patient, sometimes you don’t need to be,” said Wenger. “To know that, you need to smell the game a little bit and understand all the ingredients. It’s not like buying a machine. You can buy a super player and he can look disastrous for three, four, five months. If you buy a super machine, a Ferrari, from the first day it goes well – unless it’s bought by a Russian who buys it and breaks it in two!”

If you buy a BEAST, a LION KING, from the first day it goes well – unless it’s bought by an ARABIAN FROM UNITED ARAB EMIRATES who buys it and FEEDS IT WITH GRASS!”
